Area A: 

Includes sections of Maricopa, Pinal, and Yavapai Counties with the following programs in place to help reduce air pollution: 

  • Vehicles registered at addresses located in Area A that are more than five years old (by manufacture date) require an emissions test | Learn More >
  • Leaf blower and recreational off-highway vehicle restrictions for High Pollution Advisory (HPA) days | Learn More > 
  • Arizona’s Cleaner Burning Gasoline Program requires fuels sold to meet certain fuel formulation requirements | Learn More >
  • Stage I Vapor Recovery is required while refueling gasoline storage tanks
