This permit allows hospitals to use boilers rated at less than or equal to 100 Million British Thermal Units per Hour (MMBtu/hour), emergency internal combustion engines and ethylene oxide sterilizers for the production of heat/steam, electrical generation for backup purposes and ethylene oxide sterilization. This permit is valid for five years from the date of issuance.
