ADEQ's Underground Storage Tank Site Improvement Program (TSIP) provides financial assistance to Underground Storage Tank (UST) owners, operators and property owners of sites with USTs for specific tank site improvements that help prevent future costly cleanup activities.

Applicants are responsible for submitting an application for ADEQ approval,1 acquiring bids, managing and funding contracted work and submitting costs for reimbursement. Once an application is approved by ADEQ, applicants should complete the ADEQ-preapproved work and request reimbursement as soon as possible and no later than one year2 | Steps to Apply >
Reimbursement Funding Is Available Up to $300,000 per Facility and Includes:
- Up to $200,000 per site for UST system replacement | Download Application >

- Up to $25,000 per tank for UST removal and up to $15,000 per site for over-excavation of petroleum contamination, if required | Download Application >
