What are My Health Risks:

For Soil | There is little to no health risk unless there is contact with skin or ingestion of contaminated soil

Site Summary:

  • Soil and groundwater investigations, source control and free product removal completed to address VOCs and hexavalent chromium
  • The site is in the monitoring phase with annual reporting. Semi-annual updates are provided to the agency in between the annual reporting events. The most recent Annual Report was received on March 31, 2021, and approved by ADEQ on April 7, 2021.
  • ADEQ met with the Volunteer on March 30, 2021, to review site status and discuss ideas for continued evaluation of the current remedy of monitored natural attenuation (MNA). The remedy evaluation includes additional data collection, which will occur in July 2021. A report of findings was provided to ADEQ in September 2021.
  • ADEQ met with the Volunteer on Nov. 9, 2021, to review site status and the report of findings submitted in September 2021.
  • The Volunteer submitted a Project Progress Update following the Nov. 9, 2021, meeting. ADEQ anticipates a formal Project Progress Report will be submitted along with the Annual Groundwater Monitoring Report in Spring 2022.
  • A Project Progress Report and Annual Groundwater Monitoring Report were received from the Volunteer, and approved by the VRP in June 2022.
  • Semi-annual groundwater monitoring results were submitted by the Volunteer and reviewed by the VRP in August 2022.
  • Annual groundwater monitoring results were submitted by the Volunteer and reviewed by the VRP in April 2023.
