ADEQ proposes to issue a new Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) permit to discharge pollutants to Waters of the United States to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Facility Information
City of Bullhead City applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of up to 4 million gallons per day (mgd) of treated domestic wastewater from the Section 10 WWTP to the Colorado River - Lake Mead to Topock Marsh in the Lower Gila River Basin in Township 19 N, Range 18 W, Section 22, in Mohave County, Arizona. The Section 10 WWTP is a publicly owned treatment works that receives domestic wastewater from residential and commercial sources in the City of Bullhead. Sludge generated at the WWTP shall be digested in the aerobic digester, dewatered in the belt filter press, and transported to a landfill for disposal.
