PUBLIC NOTICE | Proposal to List Harrison Road and Millmar Road Dross on the WQARF Registry
ADEQ is proposing to list Harrison Road and Millmar Road Dross on the ADEQ Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) site registry pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes §49-287.01.
Information
Harrison Road and Millmar Road Dross WQARF site consists of aluminum dross and dross-impacted soils located in Tucson, Pima County, Arizona. The site is bounded approximately Millmar Road to the north, Mountain View to the south, the private driveway of 9880 Millmar Road to the east, and Harrison Hills wash to the west. The boundaries described are intended to provide the public with the basic information regarding the estimated geographic extent of the currently known contamination. The actual extent of the contamination may differ; therefore the geographic boundaries may change as new information becomes available. The contaminants of concern at the site are aluminum, antimony, arsenic, cadmium, copper, lead, and nickel.
The site score is 41 out of 120. The site score is based upon a review of available information regarding the presence of hazardous substances at the site. The scoring of a site, its relative score, or its placement on the registry does not necessarily represent a determination that the release of a hazardous substance from the site poses a threat to human health or welfare or the environment.
