PUBLIC NOTICE | No Further Action Determination for the Former Union Oil Bulk Plant #0329 Voluntary Remediation Program (VRP) Site

Chevron Environmental Management Company (CEMC), on behalf of its affiliate Union Oil Company of California (Union Oil), has submitted a request for a No Further Action (NFA) determination to the ADEQ Voluntary Remediation Program (VRP) for the Former Union Oil Bulk Plant #0329 VRP site. The NFA requests closure for soil and was submitted in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes § 49-181.

The Former Union Oil Bulk Plant #0329 VRP site consists of a bulk petroleum storage facility operated by Rebel Oil Co. located at 1055 E. Topeka Street in Kingman, Arizona. Contaminants of concern at the site are volatile organic compounds and polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons in soil.

A determination of NFA means that no further action shall be taken by ADEQ to remediate or require remediation of the site or portion of the site covered by the no further action determination, except in limited circumstances described in statute | View A.R.S. 49-181(E) >
