ADEQ completed the Feasibility Study Work Plan for the Highway 260 and Main Street Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund site (Site) in Cottonwood, AZ. The Feasibility Study will identify a reference remedy and alternative remedies that should achieve the Site’s remedial objectives. It will evaluate them based on the comparison criteria to select a remedy that complies with A.R.S. § 49-282.06.

Site Information

The Site consists of two areas of groundwater contamination bounded by Mingus Avenue to the north, Mongini Lane to the south, The Verde River to the east, and South 15th Street, South Main Street and Highway 260 to the west in Cottonwood. The Site’s contaminants of concern are tetrachloroethene (PCE) and trichloroethene (TCE).
