The comment period ends April 22, 2023.

ADEQ proposes to modify an AZPDES permit to discharge pollutants to Waters of the United States to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Facility Information

The City of Casa Grande applied for a major modification to their AZPDES permit for the addition of Outfall 002 and the proposed discharge of up to 14 million gallons per day (mgd) of treated domestic wastewater from the Casa Grande WRF to the Santa Cruz Wash and the North Branch of the Santa Cruz Wash in the Santa Cruz River Basin in Township 6 S, Range 5 E, Sections 12 and 21, in Pinal County, Arizona. The Casa Grande WRF is a publicly owned treatment works that receives domestic wastewater from residential, commercial, and industrial sources in Casa Grande. Sludge is sent to the City of Casa Grande Landfill for disposal.
