COMMENT PERIOD BEGINS | Work Plan Available for SRP Crosscut Voluntary Remediation Site in Tempe, Arizona
On May 12, 2023, the public comment period begins for the proposed work plan for the Salt River Project (SRP) Crosscut Voluntary Remediation Program (VRP) site in Tempe, Arizona. The comment period ends June 12, 2023.

ADEQ has received a work plan for the SRP Crosscut VRP site. The work plan proposes implementation of in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) to remediate groundwater and was submitted in accordance with Arizona law.1

SRP Crosscut VRP Site
The site consists of a groundwater plume located north of West Washington Street and west of North Mill Avenue in Tempe, Arizona. Contaminants of concern at the site are tetrachloroethylene (PCE), trichloroethene (TCE), cis-1,2-dichloroethylene (DCE), trans-1,2-DCE, 1,1-DCE and 1,4-dioxane.
