ADEQ proposes to issue an AZPDES renewal permit to discharge pollutants to Waters of the United States to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Facility Information

City of Buckeye applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of up to 1.2  million gallons per day (mgd) of treated domestic wastewater from the Tartesso Water Reclamation Facility to the Hassayampa River, below Buckeye Irrigation Company canal to the Gila River in the Middle Gila River Basin in Township 2 N, Range 5 W, Section 35, in Maricopa County, Arizona. The Tartesso Water Reclamation Facility is a publicly owned treatment works that receives domestic wastewater from residential and commercial sources in Buckeye. Sludge is removed to Southwest Regional Landfill in Buckeye.
