On June 9, 2022, the public comment period begins for the proposal to issue a new Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) Permit to Global Water - Picacho Cove Utilities Company, Inc. for their Inland Port Arizona (IPAZ) Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) No. 2 located in Pinal County, Arizona. The comment period ends July 9, 2022.

Global Water - Picacho Cove Utilities Company, Inc. applied for a new AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of up to 0.06 million gallons per day (mgd) of treated domestic wastewater from the Global Water - Picacho Cove Utilities Company, Inc. IPAZ WRF No. 2 to an unnamed wash in Pinal County, Arizona. The Global Water - Picacho Cove Utilities Company, Inc. IPAZ WRF No. 2 is a privately-owned treatment works that receives domestic wastewater from residential and commercial sources in Coolidge. Sludge will be dewatered and sent to Republic Services Cactus Landfill for disposal.
