PUBLIC NOTICE | Proposed Revised Remedial Objectives Report Available for West Central Phoenix - North Canal Plume WQARF Site

ADEQ has completed the proposed revised Remedial Objectives (RO) Report for the West Central Phoenix (WCP) North Canal Plume (NCP) Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) site in Phoenix, Arizona [Arizona Administrative Code R18-16-404(C)(1)(c)]. Proposed ROs are the clean-up goals determined for a specific site. ADEQ develops the proposed ROs based upon information collected during the public meeting and considers current and reasonably foreseeable uses of land and waters of the state.

Site Information

The WCP NCP WQARF site consists of three plumes located in Phoenix. The plumes are bounded approximately by Indian School Road to the north, Flower Street to the south, Grand Avenue to the east, and 40th Avenue to the west. Contaminants of concern at the site are tetrachloroethene (PCE), trichloroethene (TCE), 1,1-dichloroethene (DCE), and chromium.
