ADEQ proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) renewal permit to discharge pollutants to Waters of the United States to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Facility Information
Pinto Valley Mining Corp. applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for discharge of stormwater mixed with mine process water and mine drainage from Outfall 002, 003, and 004, and tailings seepage from Outfall 005 from the Pinto Valley Mine. The discharge from Outfalls 002, 003, 004, and 005 is to an unnamed wash, tributary to Pinto Creek (Below confluence with unnamed tributary to Roosevelt Lake) in the Salt River Basin in Township 1 N, Range 14 E, Section 32, in Gila County, Ariz.
