ADEQ proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) Permit to discharge pollutants to Waters of the United States to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Liberty Utilities applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of up to 6.55 million gallons per day (mgd) of treated domestic wastewater from the Palm Valley WRF to the Roosevelt Irrigation District (RID) Canal located in Maricopa County, Ariz. Liberty Utilities (Palm Valley WRF) is a privately owned treatment works that receives domestic wastewater from residential, commercial and industrial sources in Goodyear. All wastewater and/or sludge is transported to the City of Goodyear effluent distribution system via an interconnect.
