Site Summary:

  • As with any site that is remediated through the VRP where offsite groundwater impacts are present, the Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) requirements must be followed at this site. Stakeholders with downgradient receptors have been actively involved in the WQARF process to address any potential impacts or concerns
  • Site is following WQARF Rule and is in the Feasibility Study as of 2018
  • Numerous early response actions (ERAs) already conducted including excavations, soil vapor extraction and liquid-phase hydrocarbon recovery
  • ADEQ issued a No Further Action (NFA) Determination for Non-Source Area Soils on Oct. 9, 2018
  • A work plan to address characterization for source area soil was received by ADEQ in November and approved on December 5, 2018
  • A Request for No Further Action for source area soil was received on May 23, 2019
  • A 30-day comment period for a Request for No Further Action for source area soil runs from July 1 through July 31, 2019 | Learn More >
