What Are My Health Risks?

For Soil | There is little to no health risk unless there is contact with skin or ingestion of contaminated soil

For Groundwater | If you are connected to a Public Water System (PWS) there is little to no risk of impact from exceedances because the water is filtered through the PWS for residential and business use | View Drinking Water Notices > 

If you have a private well in the vicinity of the exceedance, we encourage you to test the well water

Site Summary:

  • Site is currently being investigated.
  • Site Characterization Work plan has been approved – March 2018.
  • Source area monitoring well was installed in June 2018.
  • Monitoring Wells Installation Completion Report was submitted to ADEQ in August 2018.
  • Monitoring Wells Installation Completion Report was approved by ADEQ in July 2019.
  • Sampling and Analysis Plan was submitted and approved by ADEQ in January 2020.
  • Groundwater will be sampled on a quarterly basis in 2020.
  • In December 2020, an updated Conceptual Site Model (CSM) report was submitted and is currently being reviewed by the VRP.
  • The VRP reviewed the CSM report in February. To laterally characterize the site, the Volunteer will be sampling a down-gradient well in April of 2021.
  • A revised CSP Report will be submitted in the First Quarter of 2022.
