On Oct. 9, 2026, the comment period begins for the proposed rulemaking to amend the Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) Title 18, Chapter 2, Articles 6 (Emissions from Existing and New Nonpoint Sources) and 13 (State Implementation Plan Rules for Specific Locations) to reduce fugitive dust emissions of particulate matter with a diameter of 10 micrometers or less (PM10) in the Yuma PM10 Nonattainment Area and fulfill federal Clean Air Act requirements for moderate PM10 nonattainment areas. The comment period ends Nov. 9, 2026.
