Overview:

The Advanced Water Purification (AWP) Tier 2 rule, A.A.C. R18-9-E826 (“Tier 2 Chemical Control; Advanced Water Purification-Specific Chemicals”), incorporates external sources which are required to be utilized by an applicant or permittee to conduct a Tier 2 analysis and identify Tier 2 chemicals for ongoing monitoring. These sources are incorporated by reference into the AWP program (18 A.A.C. 9, Article 8), and listed in R18-9-A802(B). The static, incorporated versions are stored on-file with the Department and published on this webpage for ease of reference.
