Summary: 

The concentration of ozone in the air in Yuma is frequently above the 2015 ozone standard. EPA designated a portion of Yuma County as marginal nonattainment for the 2015 Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) on June 4th, 2018. ADEQ submitted a state implementation plan revision to address the statutory and regulatory requirements for marginal nonattainment areas under the 2015 standard on December 22, 2020.
