Summary:
ADEQ proposes to amend existing rules and adopt new rules in Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C) Title 18, Chapter 2, Article 13 (State Implementation Plan Rules for Specific Locations) to codify the permitting conditions included in the Hayden sulfur dioxide (SO2) State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision and drafted for the Hayden lead (Pb) SIP revision. Doing so will facilitate EPA’s approval of the SIP revisions. ADEQ anticipates that this rulemaking will not impose any additional burden on the regulated community because the permitting conditions are already included in the Hayden SO2 SIP revision and will be included in the Hayden Pb SIP revision.
