Summary:
ADEQ is pursuing an expedited rulemaking to amend rules in Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) Title 18, Chapter 12 related to Underground Storage Tanks. This expedited rulemaking is limited to clarifying language, correcting references and making typographical corrections. Accordingly, ADEQ anticipates that the proposed amendments will not impose any additional burden on the regulated community. In addition to improving the rules, this rulemaking will also fulfill ADEQ’s 2025 five-year rule review (5YRR) commitments to the Governor’s Regulatory Review Council (GRRC).
