ADEQ's Air Quality Division welcomes comments on the notice of proposed rulemaking for the addition of a significant emission rate for ammonia, as a precursor in the formation of secondary fine particulate matter (PM_2.5), in PM_2.5 nonattainment areas.  The rule amendment will be submitted to the EPA as a revision to the Arizona State Implementation Plan (SIP), pursuant to Clean Air Act § 110 (42 USC § 7410).
