PUBLIC NOTICE | Proposed Leaking UST Case Closure for File 4222.01, .02, .04 in Tempe

ADEQ is considering closure of the following leaking underground storage tank (UST) case:

Arizona regulations1 allow case closure on leaking UST sites with groundwater contamination at levels above the Arizona Aquifer Water Quality Standards (AWQS) or Tier 1 Corrective Action Standards if it can be demonstrated that there is no exposure risk to public health and any remaining contamination is attenuating. ADEQ evaluated site specific conditions and analytical data provided for this site. Based on this review, ADEQ has determined that the case meets the regulatory requirements for closure.
