No Further Action Determination | Covarrubias Trust (Krazy Krome) VRP Site

On Dec. 2, 2024, the comment period begins for the request for a No Further Action determination for the Covarrubias Trust (Krazy Krome) Voluntary Remediation Program (VRP) site located in Yuma County, Arizona. The comment period ends Jan. 2, 2025.

Site Information:

Covarrubias Trust (Krazy Krome) submitted a request for a No Further Action determination to ADEQ for the Covarrubias Trust (Krazy Krome) VRP site. The NFA requests closure for soil and was submitted in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes § 49-181. The site consists of a half-acre former chrome plating operation located in Yuma, Arizona. Contaminants of concern at the site are hexavalent chromium, lead and nickel.
