Site Information:

Freeport Minerals Corporation submitted a request for a No Further Action determination to ADEQ for the Morenci Schools soil cleanup site. The site consists of 72 acres in Morenci, Arizona, and includes elementary, middle, and high schools in addition to school district administration buildings, bus barn, parking lots, play areas, and sports fields. Contaminants of concern at the site are metals in soil.
