ADEQ has completed the feasibility study (FS) for the Miracle Mile Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) site in Tucson, Ariz. An FS is conducted to identify a reference remedy and alternative remedies that appear to be capable of achieving established remedial objectives and to evaluate them based on comparison criteria to select a remedy.

Information

The Miracle Mile WQARF site consists of an area of contaminated soil and a plume of contaminated groundwater located in Tucson. The site is bounded approximately by Curtis Road to the north, Prince Road to the south, Pomona Road to the east, and La Cholla Boulevard to the west. Contaminants of concern at the site are trichloroethene, chromium, and hexavalent chromium.
