On Dec. 5, 2022, the comment period begins for the Administrative Settlement Agreement between the State of Arizona and Central & Turney Properties, Inc. and Petree Development, LLC, for property located at 4300 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona. The comment period ends on Jan. 4, 2023.

Central & Turney Properties, Inc. and Petree Development, LLC (Settlors) are preparing a proposed Remedial Action Plan to implement remedial actions to meet applicable standards under Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) § 49-152 to allow for the unrestricted use of the property. Once the Remedial Action Plan has been approved and implemented to ADEQ approval, the Administrative Settlement Agreement will provide Settlors with a written release and covenant not to sue for potential Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund liability and for potential owner liability to the State under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act for the existing contamination at the property, pursuant to A.R.S. § 49-292.
