The Soil Vapor Extraction Unit (SVEU) General Permit (GP) was renewed on June 15, 2026. Its five-year term will be in effect until June 15, 2031. If you are a new applicant, please use the revised application package that follows. If you hold an SVEU GP, you must reapply by Aug. 24, 2026, and must adhere to the updated requirements.

This permit allows equipment used for the remediation of contaminated soils due to activities including leaking underground storage tanks. This permit is valid for five years from the date of issuance.
