Site Summary:
- Engineering controls in the form of earthen and asphalt caps, drainage systems, and retention ponds have been utilized since 2006 to prevent exposure from the affected soil

- Work Plan (Soil Sampling) submitted to ADEQ in July 2018
- ADEQ reviewed and approved the Work Plan in December 2018
- In June 2019, Yuma County submits a Findings Report
- In December, 2019 , ADEQ approved the Findings Report
- June 2020, Yuma County submitted a Remedial Action Plan and was conditionally approved by ADEQ
- In December 2020, Yuma County begins their assessment of the historical tailings pile and storm-water drainage features
- In February 2021, ADEQ reviewed and approved Site Design Drawings submitted by Yuma County
- In January 2022, ADEQ received a Remedial Action Report, approved by ADEQ April 2022
- Yuma County submitted a final Conditional No Further Action Request to ADEQ in May 2022
- A 45-day Public Comment Period on the Conditional No Further Action request was issued on May 29, 2022
- Volunteer is currently working with the ADEQ DEUR Coordinator to record an Engineering Control DEUR for the property
