Site Summary:
- A mine shaft was sealed and capped to help prevent infiltration of surface water into the historic mine workings
- Two adits were sealed with bulkheads to contain and control mine influenced water (MIA)
- A passive treatment system (PTS) is in operation to remediate MIA
- All site features are inspected on a quarterly basis with a semi-annual reporting schedule
- In September 2018, ADEQ reviews and approves the submitted PTS Semi-Annual Report 2018 — Mid-Year Report
- In March 2019, ADEQ received a PTS Semi-Annual Report 2018 - Year End Report
- In April 2019, ADEQ reviewed and approved the submitted PTS Semi-Annual Report 2018 - Year End Report
- In September, ADEQ received, reviewed and approved the PTS Semi-Annual Mid-Year Report
- In April, ADEQ received, reviewed and approved the 2019 PTS Semi-Annual Year End Report
- In September, 2020, ADEQ received, reviewed and approved the PTS Semi-Annual Mid-Year Report
- In March, ADEQ received, reviewed and approved the 2020 PTS Semi-Annual Year End Report
- In December 2021, ADEQ received the PTS Semi-Annual Mid Year report, which was then approved in January 2022
