VIRTUAL MEETING | AWQS Amendments Phase 2

The seven new or adjusted Aquifer Water Quality Standards (AWQS) for: arsenic, bromate, chlorite, microbiological contaminants, haloacetic acids, total trihalomethanes, and uranium and an implementation rule took effect Aug. 4, 2025. In most cases, Individual Aquifer Protection Program (APP) permit holders were required to start new baseline monitoring as of Nov. 4, 2025.

 

ADEQ will host a virtual meeting to discuss the requirements of the modification application to include the new or adjusted AWQS in APP permits.
