Action taken: Two early response action (ERA) soil vapor extraction (SVE) remedial projects at two different facilities within the site have significantly reduced the contamination by extracting vapors from contaminated soil. The ERA at the F&B Manufacturing Inc. facility (F&B) was augmented with in-situ enhanced reductive de-chlorination (ERD) injections at the release area.

Status: The remedial investigation (RI) report, remedial objectives (RO) report, the feasibility study (FS) work plan and the FS report have been completed. The Proposed Remedial Action Plan (PRAP) was completed in June 2017 and subsequently issued for public review and comment. A record of decision (ROD) is currently being drafted for the site.
