The comment period has been extended to Dec. 18, 2024, for the Notices of Proposed Expedited Rulemakings relating to Arizona Administrative Code Title 18, Chapter 7 — Remedial Action — and Title 18, Chapter 18 — Emergency Planning and Hazardous Materials. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 41-1027(A), these expedited rulemakings will not increase the cost of compliance, increase a fee, or reduce the procedural rights of persons regulated. These expedited rulemakings will only correct typographical errors, update outdated citations, and clarify the language of rules without changing their effect. These rulemakings also incorporate proposed courses of action noted in ADEQ's Five Year Rule Review for Chapters 7 and 18.
