VIRTUAL PUBLIC HEARING | Notice of Proposed Rulemaking | Voluntary Air Permits

ADEQ will hold the following virtual hearing to receive comments regarding the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for Voluntary Air Permits. ADEQ proposes to amend air quality rules for the following purposes: 1. to allow permitted facilities to adopt voluntary permit conditions to protect ambient air quality; 2. to make technical corrections related to ADEQ’s new source review (NSR) rules; 3. to correct the gaps between ADEQ’s rules and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Title V requirements; and 4. to fulfill a five year rule review (5YRR) commitment ADEQ made to the Governor’s Regulatory Review Council.
