On Oct. 9, 2024, the comment period begins for the preliminary decision to issue a significant amendment to an Individual Aquifer Protection Program (APP) Permit to Bonanza Explorations, Inc. for the Copperstone Gold Mine located in La Paz County, Arizona. The comment period ends Nov. 8, 2024.

The requirements in this permit will allow the permittee to comply with the two key requirements of the Aquifer Protection Program: 1) meet Aquifer Water Quality Standards at the Point of Compliance; and 2) demonstrate Best Available Demonstrated Control Technology.
