VIRTUAL STAKEHOLDER MEETING | Solid Waste Fees Rulemaking
ADEQ invites you to join us for a third virtual stakeholder meeting to continue our discussion on fees for those regulated under the Solid Waste Program. This meeting will include a summary of the changes to the rule since the last stakeholder meeting, discussion of questions we have received, and the fee implementation schedule.

New fees are planned for:
- Biohazardous medical waste treatment, storage, & transfer facilities
- Landfills in post-closure care
- Lead-acid battery collection sites
- Special waste generators & transporters
- Used oil processors, burners, transporters & marketers
- Waste transfer stations (≤180 cubic yards/day)
- Tire sites subject to plan approval
Updated fees are planned for:
- Biohazardous medical waste transporters
- Fees for new tire sales
- Landfills
- Septage haulers
- Solid waste tipping fees
- Special waste tipping fees
- Waste & used tire sites
- Waste transfer stations (>180 cubic yards/day)
