Forecast Discussion:

Dust from thunderstorm winds affected the area yesterday evening, with relatively high values of PM10 (dust) occurring for a couple of hours. PM10 levels fell back down pretty quickly after the dust had passed, though. PM10 ended up reaching the Moderate AQI category for the day.

Looking ahead, some small chances for additional storm winds affecting the area exist for this evening, but breezes out of the west should limit this potential. Then after today, storm chances for Arizona exit the forecast for a while. Daily afternoon breezes out of the west are expected. Breezes could result in dust for dust-prone areas, but PM10 levels should remain relatively low.

Check back tomorrow for more.
