Forecast Discussion:
We are currently tracking a storm system that will make its way towards the desert southwest on Christmas Day, bringing along gustier winds and cooler temperatures. Unfortunately, this system still looks pretty dry, with most precipitation occurring to the north of Arizona. Particulate matter will continue to build in more PM10 prone areas during the work week, but winds on Christmas Day may help air pollution levels for that particular evening.
Before then, the usual mild temperatures and mostly light winds we've seen will continue through the weekend. Active weather will be on the horizon as we approach winter, but we will have to get through another weekend of relatively calm conditions.
For your weekend forecast, PM10 levels will remain Good through the 5-day outlook.
We hope you have a great weekend and we'll see you on Monday!
