Webinar Details

Out of the approximately 1,500 public water systems in Arizona, 90 percent serve fewer than 3,300 people and 75 percent serve fewer than 500 people. A number of these small water systems are located in rural areas and face challenges related to limited resources, aging infrastructure, workforce shortage, and a lack of long-term financial planning.

Presented by ADEQ, the Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) and the Rural Water Association of Arizona (RWAAZ), this webinar will go over the training and technical assistance available to small rural water systems in Arizona. In addition, ADEQ will provide an overview of financial assistance available to these systems.

These technical assistance providers have been assisting rural communities in Arizona to build, improve, manage, operate, and finance drinking water and wastewater systems.
