Revised On: Sept. 19, 2024 - 5:00 p.m.

NOTICE: The Tank Site Improvement Program is not accepting new applications (including non-preapproved reimbursement requests for confirmation of suspected releases) during Fiscal Year 2025 (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025).

Leak prevention activities, also known as noncorrective actions, are proactive measures designed to identify releases and to prevent future releases, which can lead to costly cleanups. Eligible UST owners, operators and property owners may request financial assistance from ADEQ through the Tank Site Improvement Program (TSIP).

Noncorrective actions include UST system removals, baseline assessments and sampling to confirm a suspected release, and UST system replacements and modifications to bring UST systems up to current performance standards.
