ADEQ proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) renewal permit to discharge pollutants to Waters of the United States to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Facility Information
Virgin River Domestic Wastewater Improvement District (VRDWID) applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of up to 0.0366 million gallons per day (mgd) of treated domestic wastewater from the VRDWID Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to Beaver Dam Wash in the Colorado – Grand Canyon River Basin in Township 40 N, Range 15 E, Section 5, in Mohave County, Arizona. The VRDWID WWTP is a publicly owned treatment works that receives domestic wastewater from residential and commercial sources in Beaver Dam. Sludge is periodically taken by tank truck to the Mesquite Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) for additional processing and final disposal. Sludge hauling takes place two or three times per year.
