Notice: Pursuant to the Clean Water Act and in accordance with Arizona Administrative Code (AAC) R18-9-A907, the ADEQ Director proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) Permit to discharge pollutants to waters of the U.S. to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

EPCOR Water applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of treated groundwater from the Miller Road Treatment Facility to the Arizona Canal in the Middle Gila River Basin in Township 2N, Range 4E, Section 14, in Maricopa County, Arizona. The Miller Road Treatment Facility is a groundwater remediation facility that was constructed to pump and treat groundwater with elevated levels of volatile organic compounds in Scottsdale.
