ADEQ proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) renewal permit to discharge pollutants to Waters of the United States to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Facility Information
The Town of Kearny applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of up to 0.25 million gallons per day (mgd) of treated domestic wastewater from the Kearny Wastewater Reclamation Facility (WRF)to the Gila River in the Middle Gila River Basin in Township 4 S, Range 14 E, Section 28 & 34, in Pinal County, Arizona. The Kearny Wastewater Reclamation Facility is a publicly owned treatment works that receives domestic wastewater from residential, and commercial sources in Kearny. Sludge is treated, dewatered, dried on site and hauled to an approved landfill for disposal.
