Forecast Discussion:
For your weekend forecast, active weather will persist and provide a few more days of excellent ventilation. Afternoon winds will continue, with high temperatures remaining around the 80°F mark. By next week, a brief warming trend will ensue as higher pressure envelops the region, before yet another shortwave moves in on Tuesday. The summertime heat will have to wait a little longer before arriving in the desert southwest.
In regards to air quality, brief pockets of blowing dust may affect more dust-prone areas during windier periods. No exceedances, however, are currently forecast. Daily levels will come in the Good AQI category going forward.
Have a great weekend!
