Notice: Pursuant to the Clean Water Act and in accordance with Arizona Administrative Code (AAC) R18-9-A907, the Director of ADEQ proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) Permit to discharge pollutants to Waters of the United States to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

JBS Fiver Rivers Cattle Feeding LLC (JBS) has applied for renewal of an AZPDES permit for operation of a concentrated animal feeding operation (CAFO) located 4.7 miles east of Wellton and one mile north of Highway 8 in Yuma County, Ariz.  The facility operation generates approximately 140,432 tons or 34 million gallons of manure, litter and process wastewater annually.
