Forecast Discussion:
Breezy easterly winds yesterday caused PM10 levels to get higher than expected, reaching well into the Moderate AQI category. Elevated PM10 levels lingered into early this morning, but are now returning to their more typical levels. We are forecasting PM10 to stay in the Moderate category through the remainder of the work week with these dry and hot conditions. Over the weekend, we are forecasting PM10 levels to drop into the upper Good range due to less dust-generating work activities.
