High pressure remains overhead, resulting in higher temperatures and elevated ozone levels. Fortunately, this trend will not persist throughout the forecast period as lower pressure moves into the region. Temperatures and ozone will drop slightly but still stay above normal.
Particulate matter will be mainly locally driven, with levels dropping over the weekend with less activity expected.
