On June 19, 2025, the comment period begins for the Proposed Remedial Action Plan for the 56th Street and Earll Drive Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) Site located in Maricopa County, Arizona. The comment period ends Sept. 18, 2025.

Site Information: 

The facility is located at the northwest corner of 56th Street and Earll Drive in Phoenix, Arizona. Environmental investigation and cleanup activities for soil and groundwater have been ongoing since 1983, after it was found that solvents and metals were released into the environment. The site contains groundwater contaminated with trichloroethene and tetrachloroethene.

The Proposed Remedial Action Plan documents the WQARF program’s remedial investigation and feasibility study results, identifies the proposed remedy and estimates its cost.
