PUBLIC NOTICE | Proposal to List Miller Valley Road and Hillside Avenue on WQARF

ADEQ is proposing to list Miller Valley Road and Hillside Avenue on the ADEQ Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) site registry pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes §49-287.01.

Information

The Miller Valley Road and Hillside Avenue WQARF site consists of a plume located in Prescott, Yavapai County, Ariz. The plume is bounded approximately by the Merritt Avenue alignment to the north, Miller Creek to the south, Division Street to the east, and Miller Creek and Valley Street to the west. Geographic boundaries may change as new information becomes available about the actual extent of contamination. The contaminants of concern at the site are tetrachloroethene (PCE), trichloroethene (TCE) and 1, 2-dichloroethene (1, 2-DCA).

The site score is 40 out of 120. The site score is based upon available information about the presence of hazardous substances but does not necessarily mean that the site poses a threat to public health or the environment.
